About the school

The teachers and staff of The Resource Room, a high quality early childhood center in Miami Gardens, are passionate about creating nurturing and engaging educational experiences that will spark a lifelong love of learning. This center utilizes a variety of educational approaches that include a balance of open, free play and teacher-guided, structured lessons that work together to help preschoolers grow to their full potential. Staff at The Resource Room, per their Florida state licensure requirements, participate in continued education on relevant and important topics such as child growth and development, nutrition, and literacy best practices. This smaller school environment—relative to much larger daycare and preschool centers—allows for many opportunities for teachers, parents, and children to regularly connect, get to know one another, and create a supportive school community that fosters the growth and development of their students.
