One parent describes the facility as “a wonderful place, clean and organized.”

Educational philosophy and administration

Diamond Learning Center uses The Creative Curriculum, which the program’s publisher describes as a “comprehensive, research-based curriculum that promotes exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.” The classrooms are designed for children to explore and learn independence. Enrichment activities include gardening, nature discovery, field trips, art and music. One parent says the center is a place “where learning is the priority.” Director Merida Perea leads the staff at Diamond Learning Center. Parents describe the staff as “very nice people and very professional too,” as well as “great teachers.” Another parent says, “The staff and teachers are great, caring, creative, plus my son loves the food they serve, and he is a picky eater! Place is very clean and nurturing.” The campus features cameras outside the school and in each classroom to keep children safe.
