About the school

Elite Kids Academy (EKA) offers full-time programs for children age three weeks through five years. This APPLE and NAEYC accredited school began serving families in the Miami area in 2008. It’s open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with after-care.

Educational philosophy and administration

Elite Kids Academy combines an in-house approach with a nationally recognized curriculum system, The Creative Curriculum. The curriculum’s publisher describes it as a “comprehensive, research-based curriculum that promotes exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and lifelong critical thinking skills.” EKA’s philosophy states “We believe that young children learn through one-on-one hands on experience in a developmentally appropriate environment. Physical, social, emotional, motor, cognitive, and language development are introduced through child-centered “play experiences” that are developmentally age appropriate.
