Educational philosophy and administration

Starlight Academy uses a dual-language curriculum that focuses on various developmental skills: social/emotional, gross and fine motor skills, art, cognitive and language. The classrooms are designed for children to explore and learn independence. In addition to teaching academics, staff work to build confidence and drive in their students. According to the school, “our teachers and staff…nurture and guide each student to believe in themselves; they challenge them to excel and reach the highest level of expectations…so they can become life-long learners who excel to their fullest potential.” One parent commends the academics at Starlight, writing “Great school, awesome staff! My son loves his school and has learned so much!” Director Hagnelith Rodriguez leads the staff at Starlight Academy. Parents describe the staff as “great” and “awesome” as well as “very family oriented.” One parent says, “The staff is always smiling, and the kids all seem very happy to be there.” Another mom says, “I'm very impressed with the teachers and staff. They really do strive to make a second home for your kid.”
