About the school

The teachers and staff of YMCA - Gulf Beaches, a high quality early childhood center in St Pete Beach, are passionate about creating nurturing and engaging educational experiences that will spark a lifelong love of learning. At YMCA - Gulf Beaches, educators offer opportunities for students to develop productive independence in both academic and life skill spheres. YMCA - Gulf Beaches has met the qualifications to become a licensed childcare provider in the state of Florida. To earn this certification, staff and teachers must have routines in place to provide a safe and nurturing environment, offer developmentally-appropriate play, and support student learning. This smaller school environment—relative to much larger daycare and preschool centers—allows for many opportunities for teachers, parents, and children to regularly connect, get to know one another, and create a supportive school community that fosters the growth and development of their students.
