At Westchase Rec Center, young children learn and grow in a safe, nurturing environment where teachers and staff offer opportunities that spark curiosity and wonder, encourage independence, and foster positive social interactions with peers. Educators at Westchase Rec Center create a warm, nurturing environment filled with tools that spark curiosity and support early learning growth and development. Westchase Rec Center has met the qualifications to become a licensed childcare provider in the state of Florida. To earn this certification, staff and teachers must have routines in place to provide a safe and nurturing environment, offer developmentally-appropriate play, and support student learning. Westchase Rec Center is a larger early childhood center, serving a broad and diverse set of Tampa families. Larger centers and schools are often able to provide a wider range of learning opportunities for students as well as offer additional health and safety measures, program options, facilities, technology, and security features.
