Safety is your top priority,
so that’s where we start.

We vet and evaluate schools to make your child care search easier and to give you more peace of mind.

Monitoring 40+ data points on every child care provider.

We’re making information about childcare centers more transparent and accessible by aggregating, analyzing, and scoring thousands of schools, based on their inspection performance, reviews, and dozens of other data points—giving you confidence in your child’s safety and wellbeing.

Our 5-step school evaluation process

We do the legwork by intensively researching safety and quality, so you can make a more informed, confident decision.

Step 1

We aggregate all available data on each school into one place, so that we get a full picture of each school, and so you don’t have to visit multiple websites just to get all the details on one school.

Step 2

License and inspection reports are confusing, and the requirements vary from state to state. We standardize these details in a way that actually makes sense.

Step 3

We review the data on each school to identify whether or not they meet our standards for being listed on

Step 4

Schools with a high frequency of safety violations and negative reviews don’t make it onto our platform, unless we determine that they have resolved concerns in a real way.

Step 5

In addition to the schools that pass our threshold for being listed on, we personally engage certain schools to become Member Schools, providing us with even richer, non-public information we can provide to parents, such as tuition rates, unique amenities, enrichment programs, teaching philosophies, and more.

More data means more personalized recommendations for you

Our Family Advisers can help you find a school that fits your unique priorities.

When we evaluate a school for its license and safety history, we also gather data on important school features you may want to consider. This includes preferences such as:

  • Location
  • Budget
  • Hours of operation
  • Age ranges
  • Language options
  • Faith-based programs
  • School size
  • Accreditations
  • Curriculum
  • Amenities
  • Meal preferences
  • Enrichment programs
